Unite Fitness Retreat is a “boutique-style” professionally guided, live-in fitness, weight loss, and wellness program where people from all over the world come to improve their health and wellness.  Typically, guests attend our program to reach a weight loss goal, enhance their current fitness regime, attain a healthy life-style, manage stress, or any combination of these.  Our passion is helping you find your own path to lasting wellness and we’ll be there for you every step of the way.

Drew Paulos

Drew Paulos, Director of Sales, CEO

Drew has a passion for health and wellness and in helping people achieve their goals through living a balanced lifestyle.  In 2016 Drew received a prestigious award for his entrepreneurial success with Unite Fitness Retreat as one of Utah’s top new companies.  Drew is an avid outdoorsman and you can find him camping, fishing, and doing anything recreational out and about in Utah.  Drew received his MBA from Westminster College.  He has five daughters and two dogs that keep him on his toes.

Christina Paulos
Christina PaulosPre-Camp Coordinator
Christina has been in the health and wellness retreat industry for the past decade and collaborated with Drew Paulos and Leah Britt in creating the Unite program. Bringing her knowledge and experience with her, she handles Unite’s reservations and program coordinating to ensure each guest has a remarkable experience. Christina has a degree from the University of Montana in Social Work and has been inspired to be in the “Helping Profession” for as long as she can remember. She has a passion for assisting people in reaching their goals and becoming the healthiest and happiest they can be. She enjoys yoga, cooking healthy food, a good cup of coffee, camping, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
Leah Britt
Leah BrittCo-Founder, Program Consultant
Leah holds a Bachelors Degree in Clinical Nutrition and Health Science from Southern Utah University where she was a collegiate athlete. Leah is certified by International Sports Science Association and The National Academy of Sports Medicine as Personal Trainer. Leah has been in the “fitness camp” industry for almost ten years and she has helped thousands of people change their lives for the better. When co-creating the Unite fitness program, she focuses the camps training style to ensure an individual approach to achieving optimal wellness for each and every client. “WE ARE ALL UNIQUE”- no two people have the same metabolism, biochemical make-up, health concerns, behavioral issues or nutritional needs. Failing to address these issues when designing a nutrition and fitness program can lead to poor results and frustration. Leah’s focus is on helping clients set realistic goals and to achieve lifelong health and wellness.
Christina Podegraz
Christina PodegrazProgram Coordinator, Yoga Instructor
Growing up in Southern California and living in Hawaii and Utah, has allowed Christina to fully appreciate, enjoy and respect nature. She enjoys hiking in the mountains, walking on the beach, scuba diving in the ocean and practicing yoga. Christina graduated with a degree in history from Westminster college which inspired and fueled her love of travel and her spirit of adventure. Christina is a certified yoga instructor as well as a certified mindfulness educator.
Maggi Schupe
Maggi SchupeHead Fitness Trainer
Maggi Shupe was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii. She moved to Salt Lake City to pursue her passion for health and wellness by obtaining her Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Science and graduating with honors from Utah Valley University in 2011. Maggi is an outdoors enthusiast and in her free time enjoys stand up paddle boarding, camping and snowshoeing. Maggi is personal trainer certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and group fitness instructor certified through the American Council on Exercise. Along with her primary certifications, Maggi is also certified in Schwinn cycle, Tabata Bootcamp, TRX suspension training and has a strong background in yoga and Pilates. Over the last ten years she has improved the lives of hundreds of clients through health education and by creating lasting lifestyle changes. Maggi specializes in working with people of all fitness levels. Her philosophy on fitness is to make every second she spends with her clients exciting, educational, and enjoyable by using the client’s needs and goals to ensure their success.
Leanna West
Leanna WestHead Personal Trainer
Leanna holds a bachelors degree in Exercise Science from Indiana Wesleyan University. She is a certified personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist through NASM. She has been in the health and wellness industry for 6 years and truly loves that everyday she gets to work with people looking to change their lives towards health!

Leanna desires to see each individual find a lifestyle of health that is specific to them. She knows healthy and lasting lifestyle changes are possible when you put in the work. She helps address the mental, emotional and physical aspects of change to help clients accomplish and exceed their goals. Her lifestyle reflects her love of health and fitness and in her free time she enjoys running, rock climbing, cooking and just spending as much time outdoors as possible.

Jonathan Monstrola
Jonathan MonstrolaCertified Personal Trainer and Activities Coach
Jonny is fun-loving certified personal trainer through NASM. Jonny has a bachelors of science in sports conditioning from the University of Utah. He has devoted many years to training a broad range of clientele. He thrives in the outdoors and takes Unite guests on exciting and fun adventures. Jonny is a people person and makes working out fun. You can find Jonny out in about in the mountains in his free time or playing sports in the park.
Trish Adams
Trish AdamsHead Fitness Trainer
Trish grew up on a farm in Southern Utah and has long had a passion for health and wellness. She has her associates in Heath Education and Promotion is currently working towards her bachelor’s degree in nutrition from Utah State University. She is a certified NASM personal trainer and she loves learning new ways to be active, she has been competing competitively in CrossFit for 2 years. Trish loves being in the mountains, back packing, playing volleyball, traveling and recently learned how to ski. She strives to make a difference in others lives and her motivating and positive attitude are contagious for all she works with.
Trish Allen
Trish AllenHolistic Health and Nutrition Coach
Trish has been in the Fitness and Nutrition Industry for over 11 years. She is a Holistic Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, an AFPA certified Health and Wellness Coach, an AFAA group fitness instructor and certified TRX instructor. She loves helping others change their life-style by giving them tools to take charge of their own health. Some of her favorite topics to share Unite are Understanding Nutrition Labels, Causes of Cravings, Meal Prep, and Successful At-Home Life-style Strategies. When she isn’t talking nutrition and fitness, she enjoys competing nationally as a fitness competitor, spending time with her 2 children, riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles with her husband, and reading.
Steve Jones
Steve JonesLCSW, Licensed Counselor, Life-Coach
Steve is a Montana native that has spent the last few years working in the fields of addiction, trauma, and helping people to change their lives for the better. He came to Salt Lake City in 1996 to attend the University of Utah. He has a BFA in Theater Studies, Bachelors of Social Work, and his Masters of Social Work. Steve is the Founder and Clinical Director of Full Circle Yoga and Therapy, where he oversees intensive outpatient programs for addiction, domestic violence, and overseas a team of therapists in private practice. Steve is a also a Level 2 Teacher in training the iREST Meditation Protocol, a 200 hour registered yoga instructor and has competed in endurance cycling races throughout Utah. He is a mountain biker, snowboarder, cross country skier, and avid hiker. In his free time, he is either doing yoga or can be found on one trail or another with his two border collies, Abner and Bernard. Steve is also a Juvenile Diabetic (Type 1) and has overcome his own issues with addiction. Steve looks forward to working with all of our clients and supporting them as they take the next step towards the best version of themselves!

Chef Dan has cultivated relationships with local growers and food distributors that provide organic, wholesome, and sustainable produce that’s grown in balance with this precious planet that we share. The top chefs in the world all know that the best ingredients to use are those that are local and fresh. This understanding along with his diverse cooking techniques and styles that he has acquired throughout his ten year private chef cooking career, are what allow him to create savory & healthy dishes for the fitness retreat that draw many cultural traditions.
Chef Dan loves using herbs and spices grown right from his own garden and his love for everything wholesome and organic appear in every meal he creates. He loves the outdoors, the farmers market, where he has a booth each summer, and hiking.
