Weekly Group Cooking Classes
Unite cooking classes are both fun and educational. You can pick up some serious skills and cooking know-how that will enrich your experience with preparing healthy food. One of the biggest obstacles to success at home, is feeling unconfident in the kitchen, without proper cooking skills. We help you break it down, so cooking nutritious meals doesn’t have to be tedious or difficult, quite the opposite! You’ll be excited to go home and get cooking in your own kitchen.
What will you learn in our cooking classes?
Terminology– Sear, Saute, baste, roast, dice, chop, mince-there is a lot of terminology that goes on in the kitchen. In a cooking class you can learn appropriate terminology that will help you to better read and understand recipe preparations.
Basic Skills– A few of the basic skills you can learn in the kitchen are knife skills, basic cooking methods, such as searing and braising, menu development, and meal prep.
Expanded Palate– Our cooking classes can expand your taste profile by exposing you to new healthy ingredients, preparations, and combinations that you may never have considered on your own.
Timing –Our cooking classes teach you how to follow a recipe (you can take home with you), shop, prep, and cook in ways that will save you time and money in the long run.
Private Cooking Class
Are you seeking more guidance and education surrounding cooking healthy meals? If so, you may opt into a private cooking class with one of our head chefs. Expand on what you are learning in the group classes in a private setting, where the focus is on you. With one on one guidance, these fun and highly educational classes will take the guesswork out of creating healthy Unite recipes at home.
