UNITE FITNESS RETREAT

Longevity Retreat: Test, Interpret, Then Actually Change Something

Personalized insights, purposeful action. Lasting results.

What is the Unite Longevity Program?

The Unite Longevity Program combines an extensive blood panel and functional testing with expert medical review, a private 60-minute results consultation, and a supervised residential program in Salt Lake City where you act on what the results show. It is a $1,500 add-on to the Unite Signature Retreat, includes 90 days of follow-up, and is built for people who want more than a PDF of their bloodwork.

Most longevity programs sell you data. Almost none of them change what you do on Monday.

The longevity industry has gotten very good at measurement. You can order a hundred biomarkers to your kitchen table for a few hundred dollars. You can spend twenty thousand for four days of consultations at a destination spa. You can buy a full-body MRI and a genome sequence.

What you usually cannot buy is the part that matters: someone standing next to you for the next three weeks while you rebuild the habits your results say you need to rebuild.

That is the premise of the Unite Longevity Program. We test you. A medical professional interprets the results. You sit down for an hour to understand them. And then you stay. You train five to six days a week at a five-to-one guest-to-staff ratio. You eat food a chef prepares to your plan. You sleep on a schedule. We re-scan your body composition every week and watch the numbers move while you are still here to do something about them.

Diagnosis and intervention, in the same place, in the same month.

What we Measure

1. Blood and metabolic panel

Your panel is drawn during the first days of your stay and reviewed by our nurse practitioner. It covers:

  • Metabolic and blood-sugar health — fasting glucose, HbA1c, fasting insulin, HOMA-IR
  • Advanced cardiovascular risk — ApoB, Lp(a), full lipid panel, homocysteine
  • Inflammation — high-sensitivity CRP
  • Thyroid function — TSH, free T3, free T4
  • Stress and adrenal health — cortisol
  • Reproductive and anabolic hormones, where appropriate — testosterone, estradiol, DHEA-S, IGF-1
  • Iron, vitamin and nutrient status — ferritin, vitamin D, vitamin B12, folate, magnesium
  • Organ function — comprehensive metabolic panel, liver enzymes, kidney markers, complete blood count

2. Functional testing: the part bloodwork cannot tell you

Blood markers describe your chemistry. These describe your capacity:

  • InBody 270 body composition — skeletal muscle mass, fat mass, percent body fat, segmental lean analysis and basal metabolic rate, repeated every week of your stay
  • Cardiorespiratory fitness assessment
  • Grip strength
  • Waist circumference, resting heart rate and blood pressure
  • Hydration

A longevity program that measures your cholesterol but never measures your muscle is looking at half the picture.

What happens, week by week

Before you arrive. Pre-care intake, medical history review, and lab requisition, so your blood draw happens in the first days of your stay rather than the last.

Days 1 to 3. Blood draw. Baseline InBody scan, fitness assessment, grip strength and vitals. You begin the Signature Retreat: training, chef-prepared nutrition, daily structure.

Days 4 to 7. Your results return. A medical professional reviews and interprets them against your history, your goals, and what we are already seeing in your training.

Your results consultation. A private 60-minute session, not a portal login. You get a plain-language summary of every marker, the three to five priorities that actually matter for you, and a written longevity roadmap covering nutrition, training, sleep, stress, recovery and where to follow up with your own physician.

The rest of your stay- Choose between 3 days up to 24 weeks. You train against your roadmap rather than a generic plan. Weekly InBody re-scans show whether what we are doing is working while there is still time to adjust it.

The 90 days after you leave. Structured check-ins. This is the window where most people quietly return to baseline, and it is the one almost every longevity program leaves empty.

  • Identification of your key priorities and opportunities for improvement

  • Recommendations for follow-up testing or medical care where appropriate

Longevity Program: $1,500, added to your Signature Retreat. All-inclusive Signature packages start at $2,400. We suggest a minimum of one week at the retreat to get the full benefits. See full rates.

An honest comparison: a $400 at-home panel gives you more markers per dollar than we do. A $20,000 destination program gives you more physician hours than we do. Neither one puts you in a gym six days a week with a chef and a trainer for the following weeks after you get your results, which is the only part that changes an outcome.

Who this is for:

  • You have had “normal” bloodwork for years and still feel worse than you should
  • You are over 40, watching your parents age, and you would like a different trajectory
  • You have lost weight on a GLP-1 medication and want to know what it cost you in muscle and metabolic health
  • You are perimenopausal or postmenopausal and the plan that used to work stopped working
  • You already bought the at-home panel, read the dashboard, and changed nothing

Who this is not for:

  • Anyone looking for a diagnosis. This is a wellness assessment, not medical care, and it does not replace your physician.
  • Anyone seeking therapeutics such as hormone replacement or stem cells. We do not prescribe. We test, interpret and refer.
  • Anyone who wants the labs without the stay. The program is built around the retreat, because the retreat is the intervention.

What you leave with:

  • A written summary of every marker, in plain language
  • Your three to five genuine priorities, separated from the noise
  • A personalized longevity roadmap for nutrition, training, sleep, stress and recovery
  • Your body composition trend across every week of your stay
  • Referral recommendations your own physician can use
  • Ninety days of structured check-ins

You already know something needs to change. This tells you exactly what.

Longevity Program: $1,500 as an add-on to your Signature Retreat. All-inclusive packages from $2,400.

Frequently asked questions

What is a longevity program?

A longevity program is a structured plan aimed at extending healthspan, meaning the years you spend healthy, mobile and functional, rather than simply extending lifespan. It typically combines strength and cardiovascular training, nutrition, sleep and stress management, biomarker screening, and habit change. At Unite it means testing what is happening beneath the surface, then immediately putting you in a supervised environment where you act on it.

What is the difference between lifespan and healthspan?

Lifespan is how long you live. Healthspan is how long you live well, without significant disease or loss of function. In the United States the gap between the two runs close to a decade. A longevity program aims at closing that gap.

How is this different from an at-home blood panel like Function Health?

An at-home panel gives you more markers per dollar than we do, and if data alone is what you want, buy one. The difference is what happens next. We interpret your results in person, build a plan around them, and then supervise you executing that plan for two to four weeks with weekly body composition re-scans. An at-home panel hands you a dashboard and wishes you luck.

Which biomarkers do you test?

The panel covers metabolic and blood-sugar health, insulin function, advanced cardiovascular risk markers including ApoB and Lp(a), inflammation, thyroid function, cortisol, reproductive and anabolic hormones where appropriate, and iron, vitamin and nutrient status. Functional testing adds InBody 270 body composition, grip strength, a cardiorespiratory fitness assessment, and vitals.

Do I need to be a certain age?

No. Most longevity guests are between 40 and 70, but the assessment is useful at any adult age, and arguably more useful earlier, when there is more runway to change a trajectory.

Why does muscle mass matter for longevity?

Skeletal muscle is metabolically active tissue. It is where you dispose of glucose, it protects against falls and frailty, and low muscle mass is a strong independent predictor of poor long-term health outcomes. It is also the tissue most at risk during rapid weight loss, including weight loss on GLP-1 medications. We measure it on arrival and every week afterward.

Can I do the longevity assessment without staying at the retreat?

The program is designed as an add-on to the Signature Retreat, because the supervised weeks are what make the data actionable. Call us at 844-864-8388 to discuss your situation.

How long should I stay?

One week minimum. Most longevity guests stay two to four weeks, which is long enough for body composition change to appear in repeat scans and for new habits to take hold before you go home.

What happens if my results show something concerning?

We flag it clearly, explain it in plain language, and recommend follow-up testing or referral to your physician. We do not diagnose or treat. Your roadmap is written so your own doctor can use it.

Does insurance or an HSA cover the longevity program?

Coverage varies by plan and by employer. Some guests have used HSA or FSA funds toward portions of the program. Check with your plan administrator, and call us so we can tell you what documentation we are able to provide.

Do I need to fast before the blood draw?

Yes, typically 8 to 12 hours. We schedule the draw and walk you through the preparation during pre-care.

What happens after I leave?

You have 90 days of structured check-ins with our team to help you implement the roadmap, troubleshoot what is not working, and decide when to retest.
